Classes update

Hello everyone, just an update on the latest happenings as lockdown starts to ease.

Manchester University beginners and general classes, (Monday and Fridays), will be starting in the Well Being room on Oxford Road week commencing October 19th. These will be face to face classes with limited numbers booked as an 8 week block. 

Monday St Elisabeths is at present continuing online for now.

Wednesday Sackville Street intermediate yoga class continues online until January 2021 as the room is so small it would make social distancing mean that hardly anyone fits in the room. 

Thursday St Clements might start back in September, I have expressed my interest at taking back  the same timeslot for face to face teaching, Thursdays 7:30-9pm.

Yoga workshop for students at MDIY 17th Oct 10am – 1pm

I am delighted to have been asked to teach at Manchester and District Iyengar Yoga, I have been asked to teach a workshop for students only to allow anyone who might be nervous about attending a workshop to feel at ease and try it! 

If you have never attended a workshop before or are worried about whether you can survive a 3 hour workshop then this is the one for you. We know starting to attend workshops can be a daunting prospect so we have put one on just for you.  No teachers will be attending it is all just for you, the yoga student.  

The workshop will be on 17th Oct 2020 from 10am – 1pm and is £30 for MDIY members or £35 for non members, you can book on their website here:

It is well worth becoming a member of MDIY  as you will be supporting the oldest Iyengar yoga centre in the world! and the only UK Iyengar yoga group that owns their own beautiful building.  I have been a member for years attend classes weekly and workshops regularly.
